Ipswich Access to Health Action

Better access to Health services in Ipswich is going to take all of us.

In Ipswich, members of our organisations have listened to more than 120 first hand stories of pressures that Ipswich residents face, and have identified that access to health is the pressure that we are determined to address. We have heard stories of people with mental health illnesses falling through the cracks, and the hardship that the lack of local cancer treatment causes.

On the night of the 28th of October we will be holding a public discussion with Sue McKee, CEO of West Moreton Health and Hospital Service, and other health service leaders in Ipswich, to negotiate how the Alliance will work with these organisations to identify solutions to improve access to health services, and then work for these solutions to be funded and implemented.
