Renew Australia for All is a national campaign for a renewable future where power is shared fairly, our homes and communities are powered with clean, affordable energy and there are thousands of well-paid, secure jobs.
Our Alliance has been involved in the campaign from day 1, ensuring that the vision and direction has been shaped by local leaders and community listening.
Together with other partners we’ve developed the Energy Bill Savings Plan. This plan can save an average household in Queensland up to $3039 every year!
- Solar on your roof could save you $1,052
- Batteries on your wall could save you $407
- Energy Efficiency upgrades could save you $1,579
Plus it would avoid 40 mega tonnes of climate pollution, and create 18,000 new jobs across Australia.
We want the Federal Government to make these savings real by paying for low income households, renters and people in unit blocks to switch to renewable energy, install batteries and make their homes more energy efficient.
Until now, the people that can afford these upgrades get big benefits, while everyone else misses out. We want to make sure everyone can access these benefits, regardless of income or housing situation.
During the 2025 Federal Election campaign we had a big win alongside our Renew Australia for All partners, with the re-elected Government committing $2.3 billion for batteries for households and small organisations.

This was extended in late 2025 by an extra $5 billion!
This program has seen 400,000 home batteries installed in under 12 months. And has been credited with the recent 10% drop in benchmark electricity prices.
This is a great start but there is much more to do! We're looking forward to further action to build support to ensure solar savings for all! Especially renters, low income earners and people in apartments who can't access solar or batteries yet.

Moreton Community Dinner with Julie-Ann Campbell MP
Recently we held our first Community Dinner with an MP. Julie-Ann Campbell MP has been advocating for further action on our Climate Safety Plan and Energy Bill Savings Plan.
30 community members and leaders from Moreton electorate came together at Southside Uniting Church - Tarragindi to recognise and thank her, and to build the next steps of our action together.
We heard Julie-Ann's commitment to:
- Further advocacy, especially on the Disaster Ready fund.
- Coming to a similar action with us later in the year,
- Co-hosting an event with us to invite all the SEQ Federal Labor backbenchers to attend.
- Working with the Qld Community Alliance across our issue areas including migrant workers and social isolation.
Community members committed to future action, community organising training, and developing a local team to drive Renew Australia for All action.

Now is also the perfect time to learn the skills and practices of community organising so we can build a bigger and better community together. We're running regular Foundations of Community Organising Training. Find the training dates, venues and registration details here.
