There is an historic opportunity in Australia right now. The decision to establish a constitutionally enshrined Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice will mean that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will be able to advise the government on policies that impact them.
To succeed, millions of Australians will need to have conversations about the Voice, with people they trust in the language of their own tradition. This means gathering after church on Sunday, Friday Prayers, craft group or bible study.
