Media Action: Community Centre Funding

ABC Brisbane will be filming a story about our campaign for Community Centre Funding on Wednesday morning before our Budget Assembly next week.

We want to show our alliance taking action as part of the story.

So on Wednesday will be building a cardboard community centre with cardboard and sticky tape in front of Parliament House and we would like as many people as possible to come along!

We are trying to creatively represent the message that we need more than sticky tape to build community and look after people. There is potential for this story to shift policy and budget priorities in lead up to our budget Assembly next week.

What to bring: Cardboard boxes

Timing: Come to the building at 12.30pm sharp!
