Brisbane Southside Free Community BBQ
Join us for a free community BBQ!
On Saturday March 22nd, community organisations from Mount Gravatt and Brisbane Southside are joining together to host a free community picnic with informative stalls where you can learn about:
💡Local community groups and services.
💡How you can reduce your electricity bill.Â
💡How clean technology, like solar and energy efficiency upgrades, can help you save.
💡The Renew Australia for All campaign to cut energy bills for good.Â
Â
We’ll have electric vehicle-powered cooking displays, and you’ll be able to speak directly to local EV and solar owners who can tell you about their experience.Â
Â
Where: Glindemann Park, Lawn St, between Seville Rd and Oates Ave, Holland Park.Â
When: Saturday March 22, 10am - 1pm.Â
What: free BBQ and informative stalls about local community organisations.Â
Â
Local members of the Queensland Community Alliance, including Mount Gravatt Community Centre, Southside Uniting Church, Queensland Conservation Council and Solar Citizens, are joining together to host this event to bring the community together.Â
These groups support the Renew Australia for All campaign to cut energy bills for good, by giving everyone – no matter where we live or what we earn – the choice to power our homes with clean, affordable energy generated by our abundant sun and wind.
We hope to see you there!
