National Training 2018 (Sydney)

 What is National Training?

National Training is a 6-day residential community organising intensive course designed for people committed to understanding the craft of community organising and strengthening our alliance.

It's for you if you want to play a key role in leading the activities of the Alliance inside your organisation and acting as a bridge between our member organisations.

Nearly 80 people have participated in 6-day training through the Queensland Community Alliance since we started.

The residential course builds a close community of leaders across participating civil society organisations that represent the diversity our communities in Sydney and Queensland.

The 6-Day National Training is also open to those seeding new Alliances across Australia.

Leaders are equipped with the tools they need to be more strategic and effective and to build and strengthen their organisations in the process. The course focuses on power, organisations, relationships and leadership.

This 6-Day National Training begins at 3pm Sunday 26 May to 2pm Friday 1 June 2018.

The training is live-in residential and there are limited spaces.  If you wish to attend this program please complete the Expression of Interest form by 10 March 2018 and we'll be in touch.

Pre-requisites for the 6 Day Training

- Attended a 2-day Foundations of Community Organising training in either Brisbane or Sydney,
