The Queensland Community Alliance invites you to our 2025 Convention—an evening to listen, deliberate, celebrate, and organise.
We will come together to reflect on the impact we have made, celebrate major wins in renewable energy, social connection, and community resilience, and launch the next phase of our shared work for the common good.
Over the past two years, the Alliance has:
-
Achieved nation-leading programs to address social isolation
-
Secured commitments from the Queensland Government to retain public assets
-
Contributed to a $3.2 billion investment in household renewable energy
-
Mobilised thousands through pre-election assemblies and referendum forums
-
Strengthened relationships across faith, union, and community organisations
Now, we look ahead—focusing on local leadership and preparing for the 2026 state and federal budgets through grassroots listening and action.
At the Convention, you will:
-
Build relationships and share stories across diverse communities
-
Recommit to key issues such as workplace justice, support for children and families, climate action, and social connection
-
Celebrate our collective wins and the strength of organised civil society
-
Help launch 15 to 30 local listening events that will guide our campaigns into 2026
This will be an evening of connection, shared purpose, and forward planning.
