The Power Network
After the success of our first Power Network night we will be coming together again: this time during the Federal Election!
We are young people of community. First Nations peoples, people of colour and leaders of diverse ethnic groups, unionists, people of faith, environmentalists, LGBTQIA+ activists, suburban and regional workers, inner city professionals, migrants, refugees, local and international students.
Queensland Community Alliance is bringing together young leaders across QLD to build the deep relationships needed to create a better Queensland: the power network.
A team has been intentionally meeting and learning about community organising. And so for this second meeting we'll continue to build relationships and discussing what is important to us in the context of the Federal Election.
This will lay the groundwork for our listening campaign later in the year.
If we can build allies outside our normal spaces and act in solidarity with each other then we have power to fight economic and climate injustice. Meaningful and secure jobs. Better infrastructure and healthcare.
If you're curious to meet people you wouldn't normally over food, listen and share stories about who we are and why we act in our communities, and get your brain ticking about doing things different in QLD then come along. All are welcome. Please invite your friends.

**We're thinking young as a diverse group under 35ish but aren't being strict about it.
