Townsville Community Assembly 2024

Join 100 community leaders to act together for the common good in Townsville! 

The Townsville Community Election Assembly will be the biggest people powered event of the 2024 State Election in Townsville. 

We will share stories, propose solutions and negotiate outcomes with the MPs and candidates who are likely to represent the NQ seats of Townsville, Mundingburra, Thuringowa and Hinchinbrook in the Queensland Parliament.

Through dozens of listening events and hundreds of individual or small group conversations, we have developed a shared issues agenda for Townsville. 

Our key issue areas are: 

• Housing 
• Climate
• Safe and connected communities 
• Thrive by five (healthcare and education for kids under 5). 

This is a non-partisan action, as are all activities of the Queensland Community Alliance.
